Capri, Italy

This island is very small but incredibly fulfilling. I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and to me, that was the perfect amount of time. There are 2 parts of the island. Anacapri & Capri. Both equally stunning. My nonno actually wrote a song inspired by this place so it was really special to see it in person.

How to get there:

I took a ferry from Beverello port in Naples. It took about 50 minutes to get there! You can book your ticket here.

Renting a car isn’t an option here which is fine because public transportation is great here!

Things to do:

  1. Blue Grotto. Touristy but worthy of seeing. We rented a private boat that took us right outside the sea cave then we had to transfer to a smaller boat that took us inside. Our boat waited outside the cave for us and then when we finished, he took us around the island. You only get about 5 minutes inside of the cave but its enough to take your photos and gaze at the bright blue neon waters.

  2. Snorkeling! So many fishes and beautiful colors that sea. Everything is so clear and clean. I recommend this activity for my salt water lovers.

  3. Dancing. The nightlife is fun over there. There are a few places you can choose from as far as styles of music. Might be a pricey cover charge though, so keep that in mind.

  4. Walk around the island. There really is something so magical about not having an agenda and just roaming freely. Especially in this area, you won’t regret getting lost.

  5. Monte Solaro. This is a mountain top with breathtaking views of the Island.

  6. Lido del Faro. This is a beach club in Anacapri. It’s located by the light house and has beds you can rent/a pool to swim in. It’s basically located on a cliff over the ocean so if you’re over the pool and want the fresh salt water, go down and use the stairs to get to water. My main photo that you see above is from this beach club. You can order food, drinks & use the bathroom. They also have towel service. Overall a great vibe for those looking to lounge and chill. There are fun little cliffs you can jump off of into the beach water.
