Venice, Italy

I took a day trip to visit Venezia from Verona by train and it was such a cute idea. The town is super small so in my opinion, spending only 1 day is perfectly fine. Venice is as confusing as it is astounding.. I definitely got lost a few times walking in the streets but it was beautiful everywhere you turned.

Sightseeing/Activities:

  • Visit Saint Marks Basilica

  • See the Grand Canal

  • Take a water taxi to Murano and go to a glass blowing studio. Murano is famous for this so I encourage you to book a ticket and watch how it’s all done. Super unique experience! Click here to learn more about booking a water taxi.

    Food:

  • Drink tea at Peter’s Tea House.

  • Have coffee and a treat at Caffe Florian. It’s expensive but the decor is divine.

  • Eat Bigoli in salsa - a famous Venitian dish. DELICIOUS! - I recommend going to Cà D'oro alla Vedova.
