Ah camping. The most humbling experience you’ll ever go through. Well, maybe not ever but pretty close. It can be a lot of fun if done right. I have been camping a few times and learned the hard way how necessary it is to have the proper items/tools handy at all times. Below is a quick list I put together. Depending on the type of camping trip you’re going on, you can customize this list to your needs and what will work best for you. Hope it helps!

What to bring:

  1. A tent (footprint & stakes)

  2. A comfortable sleeping bag

  3. Sleeping pads (A MUST)

  4. Instant water boil/freeze dried food

  5. Pillow

  6. Body/Face wipes

  7. Bug spray

  8. Sunscreen

  9. Water/water pouch for backpack (if it doesn’t come with already)

  10. Electrolytes

  11. Hiking packpack

  12. Protein bars

  13. Sun Glasses

  14. Lotion

  15. Flashlight/Headlamps

  16. Batteries

  17. Comfortable hiking shoes

  18. Camp chairs

  19. A hat

  20. Lantern

  21. Safety Kit

  22. Tool Kit

  23. Pocket knife

  24. Pepper spray
